Summary background of the organization
This organization works with tomorrows leaders children, teenagers, and young adults in the community to find direction and learn life skills. This is accomplished through workshops, learning sessions, and teaching appreciation for the arts.

Obstacles
The communication challenges faced
Many potential clients and donors assume that the group caters specifically to African Americans, which is not the case. In addition to handling a multi-cultural approach, the group deals with apathy towards the cause, due to a misunderstanding of the key message.

Solution
The steps and solution taken by the CreateAThon team
Working with a consultant, BAI defined tactics on everything from potential donor sources to dealing with board of director issues. Key takeaways included new sources of funding, documentation of success stories, and gathering valuable messaging from dedicated parents. In addition to a brochure that emphasizes the group’s successes and multiculturalism, a rich and vibrant web site was designed, in the same spirit. The site features a strong navigation, meant to guide users through to gain a holistic understanding of the organization’s goals.
